Frances Augusta was born on May 29th of 1874 in Matilda, Dundas, Canada West.

Daughter of George Thomas Zeron and Jane Carter ..whom were also born and raised in Matilda.

Her parents along with her and her siblings moved to Manitoba shortly after Sanford was born. By 1878 or 79 her mother and father were no longer together.
