Biography

Otto was born in 1907.

On July 17, 1923 Otto Ziegelman arrived at Quebec from Poland on the ship Empress of France. Otto gave his age as 21, born about 1902 at Olton, Poland. His fare was paid by his uncle, Karl Gliege of Lestock, Saskatchewan. He gave his next of kin in Poland as Heinrich Ziegelman.[1]

In 1926, Otto and wife Ida and their one year old son were living in the municipality of Laird in the Prince Albert District of Saskatchewan.[2]

In 1931 Otto and Ida were living in Prince Albert with their three children.[3]

He passed away in 1970.
