Vincent Steve Zwarych was born on September 17, 1955 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, son of Stephan Zwarych (1928–2006) and Clara Wilma Apperley (1934–2018).

Vince (22) married Marjorie "Sharron" Pitman (25) (daughter of Herbert Granville Pitman and Margaret June Hamblin) on May 6, 1978 in Port Kells, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.^[1][2] Their children were:

1. Samantha June Jarvis (1981– )
2. Matthew Sterling Jarvis (1984– )

Vince had many professions; At one point he worked as a prison guard for the New Westminster Penitentiary. After some traumatic experience of being held hostage by prisoners he eventually changed careers.^[3][4][5] Vince went back to school and became a heavy duty mechanic. This profession would take him and his family across Canada as he worked with one mining company to the next.

Vince and his family moved to Chilliwack, BC in the fall of 1989 where he spent the rest of his days.

Vince died on November 9, 2011 in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, aged 56. Vince passed from a heart attack, a complication with his type 2 diabetes and prescription drugs for his mental health.
