Biography

都留子西山 is Notable.

Nishiyama Tsuruko was born in Tokyo on 11 September 1917. During her career with the Takarazuka Revue, she used the name Toruko (トルコ). She was then active as an actress under the name of Todoroki Yukiko. She first married Makino Masatada in 1940; they divorced in 1950. During that time period, she was Makino Tsuruko (牧野都留子). In 1953, she remarried to Kagoshima Takehiko. They divorced in 1965. In that interval, she was Kagoshima Tsuruko (鹿児島都留子). She died in Tokyo on 11 May 1967 under her maiden name.
