I have created the profile of Barbara Pittendreich née Sime

The evidence for her is a marriage record in the parish of Slains in 1713. [“Old Parish Registers, Marriages and Banns, 1553–1854,” database and images, ScotlandsPeople (https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk : accessed 23 June 2020), image, entry for William Pittendreich and Barbara Sime, married on 19 November 1713 in Slains, Aberdeenshire, citing reference no. 239/ 10 212.]

There are likely to be two, or possibly four, children born as a result of the marriage, although the baptismal records in the parish at the time only record fathers’ names in the register.

I would welcome contact from one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines to help with this work.

Many thanks,

David Dobie.
