Is there a pre-1700 project that covers surnames Deans and Skene in Aberdeenshire, Scotland?

I want to contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree. Here are people I can add, along with dates and locations:

  • Alexander Skene baptized 16 Dec 1690, married Margaret Milne in Kemnay 1714
  • William Skeen, birth about 1660, married Margaret Phelp 1692, possibly in Moneymusk where banns were announced.

Here are the sources I am using:

  • Scotland Old Parish Records - Births & Baptisms (National Library of Scotland), Scotland's People, Skene (Alexander) Baptism 22Sep1690 Kemnay; cited in "Skene, Alexander (O.P.R. Births 207/00 0010 0087 Kemnay)".
  • Scotland Old Parish Records, Banns and Marriages (National Library of Scotland), Scotland's People, Skeen (Alexander and Margaret Milne) Marriage 1714 Kemnay; OPR207_000_0010_0122Z.jpg / 18/06/1714 SKEEN, ALEXANDER (Old Parish Registers Marriages 207/ 10 122 Kemnay) Page 122 of 338; but (per email from ScotlandsPeople) actually indexed from a volume of minutes, accounts and marriages covering the years 1688 to 1717 (NRS catalogue ref. CH2/542/3, p. 93).
  • Scotland Old Parish Records, Banns and Marriages (National Library of Scotland), Scotland's People, Skeen (William and Margaret Phelp) Banns 1682 Monymusk; cited in "11/06/1682 Skeen, William (Old Registers Marriages 224/10 209 Monymusk) Page 209 of 302"

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!
