ERROR: Invalid Data (Can't save mother or father info with dates of birth and death)

Greetings! New user here and very impressed and grateful for this service and all whom make it great!

I have entered all the correct info (plain text, no punctuation or characters) for my mother including her exact date of birth and death yet upon save get this message and cannot Save:

"Error: Invalid data. The following must be corrected: 1. This person has data indicating that they are both living (Active WikiTree User) and not living (...with the death date, status, and location I input)."

Yet doing a search for my mom using her full and correct name (including all 3 of her last names - birth, married, re-married) yields NO results, so how can she be an existing WikiTree User?

Please advise. I cannot properly Save and proceed until this is resolved. Thanks in advance for anyone's help and reply!

Chris, the phrase "active WikiTree user" gives me a clue.  Do you have an email address entered for her?  That's what is used to determine a user.  Try making sure the email space on her profile is blank and see if that removes the problem.

Thank you for your reply and help!

It seems that all I had to do is remove the email address and all is well, so you were right!  I never would have figured that out.

Thanks to you, Gordon-4080 for the original email reply I got, and to Gaile Connolly and Marion Poole as well!

Hi Chris,welcome.

In edit mode please see if you have checked still living under death date. If so change it.

Next - we use day month year format.

LNAB is last name at birth

Current last name is last name used when she died.

Other last names would include any previous last names.

Hope this helps, or come back for more help
