where did my proposed merges go???

Question

I proposed 2 merges last month and was patiently waiting to know if the profile managers would agree. I was watching my feed... they were there.... but then both proposals disappeared!!!!  What happened?

Demarais-91 AND Marais-809

Bissonnette-119 AND Bissonette-26 (I just reproposed this merge)

Bissonnette-119 and Bissonette-26  hasn't been 30 days was proposed March 22

Desmarais-91 and Marais-809 likewise it hasn't been 30 days it's still there. Proposed March 20

But it no longer appears in my feeds... in "pending merges initiated by me"

On April 20th will Desmarais-Marais automatically merge if the profile manager does not respond?

They don't automatically merge. People have to do it. So on the 19th go to either of the profiles. In the lower left corner, the merge is there and you can compare and merge the profiles.

You can also check for the merges in the drop down menus to right corner, -- Find --- Pending Merges -- click on pending merges proposed by me.

Try where you normally look again, after you've restarted your browser.

Anne B Today is April 20th and I should be able to merge Marais-809 and Desmarais-91 because it's been 30 days. How do I do this? It isn't in my feed or even when I go to merges initiated by me??? Where is it and how can they be put as one??? Thanks for helping me with this....

Go to one of the profiles. At the bottom of the page There's a section for matches and merges and you'll find the merge listed there. Click on Compare, to take one last look side by side. Then click Merge at the top. It's going to ask you if you have the right last name. Make sure you have the last name you want, there's a line if you need to switch the direction. I have my email open, so if you have questions on the way.

When you do the Bisonnette/Bisonette profile (later) make sure you use the right spelling one has two n's

Sorry I didn't read your response in time to email you again.  I think there is something strange because after I pick compare and then select merge, the screen says /states...........
