I left an answer: is there no-one available to address a pre-1500 profile, which is all is lacking for concluding a proven, all-confidence relationship? Or, is this one low-priority since it is a cousin relationship? Thanks
Edited for clarity. Would like to have a 6th tag added for pre-1500 if an admin can do that. Thanks again. PF

Above citation can be added as a source for his death date, which is stated as 17 Jun 1549 (also described as 3E VI).
Son John Gyfford and grandson John Gyfford (born circa 1523-died 1563 and husband to a daughter of Sir George Throckmorton) are mentioned, with the younger John being Sir William Gifford's heir.
The great-grandson in this line and successor of the younger John was Sir George Gifford (age of majority in 1574), some additional details on Sir George Gifford continue in the text.
Note also that his father can be marked as "Confident." Regarding this William's vital dates, his father's profile states:
''Sir William Gifford, b. Abt 1475, Itchel, Hampshire, England , d. 17 Jun 1549, of, Weston-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, England''
See also confidence level for his son:
"In 1505 the fishery of Fleet and the pasture called Le Flete were leased by the Prior and convent of St. Swithun to Sir William Giffard and John his son."
