Hello all once again,

I am back with an actual update on the May family and their time in England. As mentioned here (https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/649007/i-ordered-three-gro-birth-records-for-the-may-siblings), I originally ordered three of the GRO Records and discovered that Michael and Bernard are NOT the same person as mentioned here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/652518/michael-may-and-bernard-may-not-same-person. Before I continue, I would also like to provide this original timeline for your review as these guys have confused me for years! https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/163874/may-family-timeline-plus-comments-and-questions

Now that that has all been said, I will continue from when I believe that they moved to England which is some point after 1861 but prior to July of 1863 as Michael May was baptized in Kilmactigue on July 21, 1861 and died on July 6, 1863 in Dawgreen, Dewsbury, York, England. His brother, Thomas was then born on February 26, 1864 in Dawgreen, Dewsbury, York, England. Two years later, another son, Patrick, was born in Dawgreen on February 12, 1866. Over a year later, the next child, Edward,  was born on November 16, 1867 in Dawgreen.

Now on August 9,1869, Mary May was born on High St which is in or nearThornhill Edges currently while on April 2, 1871, the family was living at 108 Ingham Rd which is still in the Thornhill area according to Google Maps. But when it comes to Michael May's May 27, 1871, birth certificate it states that he is in Dawgreen when he is born. So that may be something that I will need to double check maps at that time to see if that was how it was.

Anyway, there is supposedly, a Mary May baptised by this family in Kilmactigue in 1872 but there is no birth certificate for her in England which means another discrepancy to look into at some point. However, next, Sara Ellen May was born on August 9, 1875 at 60 Turkey St, Keighley, York, England while Agnes May was born on September 17, 1878 at 50 Sun St, Keighley, York, England.

Still no sign of Bernard in England as well as no birth certificate for Joseph May prior to 1880 or even shortly after. But he is mentioned in the new york passenger record here so he exists: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939V-5BS3-M1?i=886&cc=1849782

Any ideas on what to do next to find either Bernard or Joseph or even figure out these discrepancies, if they are actually discrepancies?

Thanks,

Mike
