Good evening
I have worked through the connections with Queen Maria through the Donhoff line.
In wiki the family line is provided by [https://books.google.ca/books?id=zihbCxb9xpQC&pg=PT1&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false] but on the English Wikitree.
At issue is the parentage of Kaspar von Dönhoff (1587 - 1645) . He is the father of Anna von Dönhoff who would become the grandmother of King Stanislaw.
The document says Teodor Doenhoff (Polish Lithuanian spelling) and Dorota von Zweiffel but all other documents including Polish and German I can find only Gerhard von Donhoff V and Margarethe von Zweiffeln
Additionally, I cannot find a record that this Teodor had children or even married despite his otherwise prolific file.
If anyone knows otherwise, please let me know otherwise but for now I am going to follow the majority of the sources with the latter couple and neither has any ultimate implications for a relationship
The line is difficult to follow as so many first cousins have the same name so I could see how a mistake could occur
More sources will be populated to all pertinent profiles
As an aside, the Baltic oriented nobility moves regularly through Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and other Nordic companies which provides a challenge for spelling options - does anyone have a suggestion.
I did clear out the old genealogical standard where v is usually used rather than von as I go to go with Wikitree standards
