WikiTree is a free website that aims to build a single family tree that anyone can edit, covering all humanity. This is unlike Ancestry where everyone makes their own family tree.
To get started, you need to create a WikiTree account and set up a profile.
Then you should add parents, grandparents etc to your profile. There are privacy protections for the living and recently deceased.

If you think you're descended from them, you should add on to WikiTree all the people between you and them, making sure to cite sources for all the new people you add.
