Katherine Beaumont was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Biography

Katherine Beaumont (c.1360 or earlier-1435) was the daughter of Sir John Beaumont and Joan Crawthorne. She m. (1) on 25 Dec 1375 Sir John Strecche (dsp. b.1384) and (2) bef. 1384 Sir Hugh Luttrell. Katherine and Hugh had 2 sons (Sir John; & William) and 4 daughters (Margaret, wife of John Cotes, Esq; Elizabeth, wife of William Harleston, & of John Stratton, Esq; Anne, wife of William Godwyn; & Joan, a nun at Shaftesbury Abbey).^[1]

Sir Hugh Luttrell died on 24 March 1428 at Shaftsbury, Dorsetshire, England.^[2] Katherine died 28 Aug 1435 at Dunster.^[3] A monument in their memory is erected on the north side of the Chancel of Dunster Church.^[4]

Her heir was her grandson James.^[3]
