By 1827 he was involved in ship-building - he had a yard at Liverpool where the Wasp, a 13 ton vessel was launched in January.[4]

Research Notes

Several trees also have middle name "Henry" however none of the records seen have this middle name, so I have removed it. I checked with Grahame Thom who has researched the family extensively and he has never seen it in any record. Please do not add the middle name Henry.
