- Harmon Rector was born in 1715 in Germanna, Spotsylvania County, Virginia.[1] to Anna Elizabeth Fischbach, and Hans Jacob Richter.
- Harmon Rector married Mary Nelson in Virginia[1]in 1732 when he was 17 years old. They had 13 Possible children.

- His Son Harmon recieved 100 acres of land, and a slave in his will. Elizabeth Rector's husband, Tillman Weaver was one of the Executors.
- Harmon died on 28 September 1789 in Germanna, Spotsylvania County, Virginia, United States. He died in 1789 and the will was probated on September 28, 1789, in Fauquier, Virginia, when he was 74 years old. Picture of Will on Profile page.
- Also found, he died Sept 28, 1789 in Rector Town, Fauquier, Virginia.
- His will states, he is giving 100 acres to his son Harmon Rector, lying next to Agnes Utterbach's land.
Research
Some think that Harmon's brother Jacob Rector-48 married Mary Ann Hitt around 1748 in Virginia.[2] Others think that her maden name was Hitt, not Nelson.

The same children are listed for brothers Hamon and Jacob. Jacob's wife Mary HItt has the same birth and death dates for Haroms wife Mary Nelson. I do believe that for now Harmon Rector's wife is unknown as are his children if any? Please advise, thank you.
