Mary Sutton married Alexander Home, 1st Earl of Home, before the 28th of June 1607, when she has a charter of the borony of Dunglas for life, and Balfour names her as the eldest daughter of Edward, 9th Lord Dudley.[2]
Mary Sutton Home, Countess of Home, died at London, England on the 24th of May 1645.[2]

As many sources refer to Mary as Mary Dudley, it should be mentioned that Dudley is a title and her surname is /SUTTON/[1] but the two were used interchangeably.
