Daniel Warner was born on 12 Apr 1741 in Roxbury, Litchfield, Connecticut Colony. He was the son of Benjamin Warner and Silence Hurd. Daniel Warner married 14 March 1765 Patience Norton, daughter of George Norton.

Patience and Daniel had a daughter, Phebe Warner, born 4 November 1768, who married Jacob Goodsell. Phebe died April 30, 1849 in Westmoreland, Oneida NY.

"Born to Dr. Benjamin Warner and Silence Hurd. Was the older brother of Colonel Seth Warner and Capt. John Warner who all fought at the Battle of Bennington. Daniel was killed 16 Aug 1777 in the Battle of Bennington. [1]

He probably has no stone anymore as the original graves were where the First Church now stands. He is remembered an interned yet in God's Sacred Acre."
