Johanna Abel Blackburn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 10, 1860, the daughter of George Abel and Anna Kirchgassner Abel. She married John Alexander Blackburn Johanna died from a cerebral hemorrhage at St Francis Hospital January 29th 1930. She had been in the hospital for several weeks prior to her death. She is buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard Ohio
