She married 1 Mar 1812 @ Homer, New York, David Hull [b. 29 Mar 1780 @ Norfolk, CT, son of Joseph & Sarah (Pardee) Hull; d. 4 Jun 1830 @ Homer, NY]. They had 8 children, as profiled, born at Homer.
Per the Alvord genealogy, Charlotte (Alvord) Hull had all the characteristics of the best and strictest Puritans of New England. After her removal to Caldwell Co., Mo., she abhorred the customary Sunday visiting among neighbors, which was so common there. She detested every form of vice. The effect of her severe training is felt even to-day among her descendants and they honor her for it.
At the 1850 in Homer, New York, Charlotte (by then widowed for 20 years) was head of household, with her son Martin and his emerging family in residence [1]. This living situation prevailed also in 1855 [2] through 1880 [3],[4].
Charlotte (Alvord) Hull passed away about 1 Feb 1882 at Homer, New York. Her grave is represented to be in Atwater Cemetery, Homer, Cortland County, New York, USA [5]. No grave marker is depicted.
