Abigail Andrews (or Andros) was born in Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony in about 1687,[citation needed] possibly in the area of Ipswich known as Chebacco Parish.
She married Thomas Butler on 29 Aug 1704, at the Chebacco Parish Church.[1] Possible children:
Abigail Andrews Butler died in Ipswich at the age of 30, on 20 Jun 1718. She was buried in the Chebacco Parish church cemetery (later known as the Old Graveyard or the Old Essex Cemetery).[2][3]
Research Notes
Erroneous Second Marriage: There is apparently some speculation that Abigail married a second time, to John Norwood. This would seem to be impossible, since she died in 1718 and was buried under the name of "Butler," not "Norwood." Thomas Butler seems to have outlived her to publish an intent to marry Martha Storye in Ipswich on 16 Jan 1719/20.[4]

With there being so many BUTLERs & the common/ popular name of “Thomas “ there could have been confusion between individuals named Thomas Butler. Has anyone came across information to support or validate that these two Abigail women are the same individual????? Thanks!
