Wikitree and me

Amateur genealogist since about twenty years, I started with a course including how to read old documents, at the Société de Généalogie Canadienne Française in Montreal.

Moved to St-Jérôme, I have been president of the Société de généalogie des Laurentides. In 2013, due to family and health reasons, I left all positions outside my home and started using only Internet for my genealogy research..

Today, I participate in the Global Tree Wikitree. I volonteer by taking responsibilities in different roles in projects or departments where needed and where I will be happy. Registered since 2012, I decided to invest more time and efforts in october 2014.

Hello Guy,

Thanks for your interest. The How-To's were a good introduction. The only thing (so far) that I'm a bit uncertain about is proper source formatting. I think I'm doing it properly...?

Hi Guy,

The How-To's were helpful, but the process of loading information is slow as I have to input everything manually. I have over 2,000 records, so it would be nice if I could upload a GEDCOM file directly. Also, I haven't had a lot of time to work on it. Hoping to get more done over the winter.
