Steve Backshall is an English naturalist, explorer, animal expert, author, and television presenter
Stephen was born on 21 April 1973 in Easthampstead, Berkshire, Oxfordshire.[1] He has explored hidden places and discovered animal species from around the world. He has worked for National Geographic TV, BBC TV, and Discovery TV. His programs have included Deadly 60, Expedition with Steve Backshall, Lost Land of the Tiger, Lost Land of the Volcano, and Lost Land of the Jaguar. He has written nonfiction books and a fiction series entitled The Falcon Chronicles.
In 2003 according to an electoral register, Stephen (age about 29) was living in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England.[2]
