1881 Birth: Margaret was born on the 8 May 1881 in Hull, East Yorkshire. Her parents were George and Elizabeth.

1891 Census: The family were living at 21 Harrow Street, Holy Trinity, Hull. She is aged 9 and at school. ^[1]

1901 Census: The family are now living at 13 Haverlock Street, Hull. Margaret is 19. ^[2]

1906 Marriage: Margaret married Albert Wimberley in the July quarter of 1906 in Hull. ^[3]

Birth of Children:

• Elsie was born on the 22 December 1906 in Hull;
• Edna was born on the 25 February 1908 in Hull;
• Elizabeth was born on the July quarter of 1909.

1911 Census: On 2 April 1911 the family are living at 52 Tadman Street, Hessle Road, Hull, East Yorkshire. Her father George was 62 and a Dock Labourer and her mother Elizabeth was 64 and had been married for 42 years. Margaret 29, her husband Albert 30, a railway managers assistant and their 3 daughters, Elsie 4, Edna 3 and Elizabeth 1. are living there too. The house had 9 room. Also living with them was there is her younger sister Elsie who was 22 and John Coates Glasby 62, her mother Elizabeth’s brother, living on own means and formerly a groom.^[4]

• Herbert was born on the 15 May 1912 in Hull;
• Joan was born on the 14 November 1920 in Hull.

1918 Death of Mother: Her mother Elizabeth (Glasby) Bailey (1845-1918) died on the 15 March 1918.

1921 Census: In 1921, Margaret 40 is still living at 52 Tadman Street, Hull, with her father George a widower and 72 years old. He is a Talliman working for Walter Gilling a Seed and Grain Superintendent at Albert Docks in Hull. Her husband Albert Wimberley 41 and their 5 children, Elsie 14, Edna 13, Elizabeth 11, Herbert 9 and Joan 7 months. Albert was a Clerk at the Dock Offices for the North Eastern Railway Company. Also living with them is her younger sister Elsie is 32, unmarried and the housekeeper. ^[5]

1927 Death of Father: Her father George William Bailey (1848-1927) died on the 15 May 1927.

1931 Death of Husband: Her husband Albert died in the March quarter of 1931 in Hull.

1937 Death of Daughter: Her daughter Elizabeth died on the 14 April 1937 at Hornsea Cottage Hospital.

1939 Census: She was a widow and living at 15 Clyde Street, Hull. She is living with her son Herbert. ^[6]

1962 Death: Margaret died in the June quarter of 1962 in Hull, East Yorkshire.^[7]
