Original date of birth listed here was incorrectly listed as his father's, this Samuel was born June 1, 1707. ^[1]. This also means that he cannot have been the Samuel that married Mary Coburn, or fathered Nicholas Balch, those were both also his father, Balch-246. Removed previous research notes.
