Biography

Mary was born in 1730.
She passed away in 1789.

She was the daughter of Edward Barnes and Sarah Barnes. Married Robert Simms II of Wayne County, NC. Together they had the following children: Robert, Keziah, Briton, James, Mary, Penelope, Susannah, Abraham, and Patience.

THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROBERT SIMMS SR. Robert Simms Sr. of Wayne County made out his will on 18 December 1789. It entered probate in April Court 1891. Simms’ landholdings were in the area between Contentnea and Black Creeks, which is now in Wilson County.

It was a family history created by Lacy traveling from courthouses to cemeteries to members of the Simms clan who were alive at the time. This information was gathered, written and published by Lacy Simms and Martha Reid Robinson (distant relatives) after World War II. Lacy and Martha made copies available to members of the Simms family in Georgia, Illinois, Texas and other states around the US.

Barnes-9148 and Barnes-6630 do not represent the same person because: not a match, Different spouses & children!!

Barnes-9148 and Barnes-6630 appear to represent the same person because: same name and parents. The parents didn't have two daughters alive with the same name. Either she married twice, or else one of these doesn't belong to the parents and needs to be detached. Please review and take the necessary action(s).
I reviewed & took necessary steps. I have a problem with parents.
