We need to pass this on to future generations so they understand who we were, who we are and who we want to be in the years to come.

I began documenting our family history in 1990 when my father, Walter Harden, began aging. I would write down the names of family members he found as a result of his search. His father passed away when he was a young boy, so after his mother passed away in 1964, he began searching for relatives from his father's side of the family with a passion.
Today, I use Family Tree Maker and Ancestry.com to maintain over 35 trees, one major tree has over 30, 000 individuals, which includes extended family members in one tree and I manage about 15 others.
I have shared my research results at family reunions in the form of family history books. I am always reminding family that these books are a 'work in progress' because they change constantly and are usually outdated by the end of the reunion.
I have helped many to make a connection and I have personally connected with family lines lost. I look forward to helping other WikiTreers as well.
I married James Phillip Jarrett on June 8, 1991 in Columbus, Ohio. We have two lovely daughters: Jalisa and Mariah. My husband passed away Sep 2019 and I retired from Nationwide Insurance after 42 years in October, 2020.

We have been searching for information on my great grandfather, Savage Logan. Thank you for posting his tombstone with the date of his death!
My mother, Charlotte Galloway Cartwright, spoke of cousins named Bullock and Butler. She lived in Philly, until moving to New York with my father, after WWII.
Are you related to Savage Logan? How?

Many thanks for your help, regards, Margaret, categorization Project
Saint Matthews has been corrected to St. Matthews as it already existed. Since I am not experience in creating location categories, I will need the categorization team to create those locations. Thanks.
