The Beach Family Magazine, Vol. I, No. 3, p. 61, gives the year of his birth as either 1744 or 1745, but in Vol. II, No. 1, p. 113, says 1745. The approximate date of his death as before 1780 is based on his wife's remarriage to Jesse Johnson on 23-Aug-1780.
