Obedience Beecher, daughter of John and Elizabeth (Barnes) Beecher, was born 12 Jun 1719 in Wallingford, Connecticut.[1][2][3]
As Experience Beecher she married Joseph Beach, in Wallingford, on the last of October 1734, by Mr. Hall.[4][5]
Their first seven children were born in Wallingford, Connecticut, but Joseph became a founding settler of the Waterbury area known as East Farms and the last several children were born there.
The burying ground, now called East Farms, was sold by Joseph Beach to the town for fifteen shillings, 28 April 1780. The oldest inscribed stone is that of Experience, Joseph's wife, who died 20 Sept 1789.[6]
