Maud was the daughter of William Beauchamp and Ida Longespée.[1] Her birth date is uncertain. Her mother was probably born in about 1208 and her parents married in 1220 (see her mother's profile), so she may have been born in the late 1220s.
Maud died shortly before 4 April 1273[1][2] and was buried with her 1st husband Roger de Mowbray in the church of the Friars Preachers, Pontefract, Yorkshire.[1] In 1275 her husband received her dower lands during the minority of the heir.[3]
