Biography

Joseph Beaucamp was born on 15 Mar 1888 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Dominique parish in Newport, Gaspé-Est. He was the son of Michel Beaucamp, fisherman, and his second wife Marie Doiron. Godparents at Joseph's baptism were Elie Cyr and Zoé Beaucamp, all of this parish.^[1]

He married Rose Alma St. Jean on June 7, 1909 at Victoria Mines, Ontario. ^{[citation needed]}

Joseph Beauchamp died at age 55 on 19 May 1943 in Gatchell, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada^[2]
