Biography

She is the daughter of Henry Birdsall and Anne Unknown When Marretje Birdsall was born on 11 January 1690, in New York, her father, Capt Henry Birdsall, was 42 and her mother, Ann Eliza Graves, was 38. She married Jan Gerritsen Dorlandt in 1713, in Suffolk, New York Colony, British Colonial America. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 9 September 1749, in Hempstead Town, Nassau, New York, United States, at the age of 51.
