Biography
Daniel was born in 1785, the son of Samuel Blevins and Hannah Osborn (Lyons) Blevins. He married Susannah Sumpter in 1809, Lincoln, Kentucky, and had 2 children. He died about 1813.
Research Notes
Daniel has 2 documented sons, one listed on his 1810 census, and whose name is unknown. This unknown son also appears on mother Susannah Sumpter-574 1830 Crawford Census.
Daniel's, wife, Susannah, moved to Indiana before the birth of son Willoughby Blevins-3877 who was born there in 1813 and is shown residing with mother Susannah Sumpter-574 Blevins Fowler on the 1850 Whiskey Run, Crawford, Indiana Census. Therefore she had been remarried to a man named Fowler by the time that census was taken.
Daniel is thought to have died before the birth of Willoughby in 1813, possibly in Lincoln, Kentucky. Also, he is not documented after the 1811 Lincoln, Kentucky Tax List was created.
Daniel has often been misidentified as the Daniel Blevins-3878 (1791) (incorrect), son of Stephen Blevins-1918, whose family resided in Whitley, Kentucky, and migrated into Arkansas. However, he belongs to the group of the Blevins family associated with Lincoln, and Jefferson, Kentucky.

Daniel 1332 was born circa 1785 , as shown on 1810 Lincoln, Kentucky Census (age group). Married Susannah Sumpter-574, in 1809 Lincoln, Kentucky and had son Willoughby Blevins-3877. Died about 1813.
