Isabella Bowden was born in Ireland about 1814. She migrated to Australia in 1839 with her husband and their children on the Garrow.[1]
Isabella Kerr died in Dandenong in 1889 [2] 28 Jan 1889 "Weekly Times" trove.nla.gov.au KERR. — On the I8th inst., at Dandenong, Isabella, wife of late Moses Kerr, aged seventy-seven years
From Steve & Jenny Hamilton on Thursday, 22 January, 2009
John Bowden, came with wife Elizabeth and seven of his eight children aboard the Garrow as you have listed. An older son , David travelled on the same voyage and gave his age as 19 (he was in fact 23). Father John was listed as 45 years of age when in fact he was closer to 55. On the same voyage was the eldest Bowden daughter Isabella travelling with her husband Moses Kerr, three of his children from a previous marriage and their son together, David aged 18 months. The final Bowden daughter Ann (Nancy) emigrated with her husband and four children in 1851.
Kindest regards, Jenny

HOWEVER...
There is no evidence that Isabella was the daughter of John Bowden and Elizabeth. She is not mentioned on the death certificate of John Bowden. Nor on her death registration.
