Agnes, daughter of John Bauman and Catherine (Stambaugh) Bowman,^[1][2] was born 21 November 1852 in Heidelberg Township, York County, Pennsylvania.^[1][2] Her parents had her baptized 13 January 1853 at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hanover, York County.^[1]
