Notations on Isham Meador and his two wives, Obedience “Biddie” (Bradshaw) Meador and Martha (Craighead) Sullivant Meador:

It is only through his application for a pension, due on his service in the Revolution (Note by Janet. On Meador II is his Pension), that a few of his children are reliably known. Does anyone have names and a source for the parents of "Biddy" Bradshaw. Parents connected here show born 1772 and 1773 while Biddy has a birthdate of 1762. The one linked source has no information as to her parents.
Ancestry.com is showing John Tombin Bradshaw/Bratcher, Sr (1732-1817) as her father. Has he been researched yet? It came up during my searches today while looking up my 5th great-grandfather Isham Meador SAR info. I've temporarily attached John to my Ancestry.com tree while I work on it. But if others have done the work and disproved it, I'd like to know. And if no one has worked on it, maybe this is a place to start.
I found quite a few John Tombin Bradshaw/Bratcher, Sr trees on Ancestry. Don't see anything in the way of real sources though, Never been able to find anything but some trees that have the name Tombin. Found no actual source for the name. Those trees that have that name show him as a brother of John, son of a conflated William Larner Bradshaw and Judith Scruggs. William and Larner were two separate individuals (brothers). Each of them had a son named John, as did their other two brothers Benjamin and John.
I have sources for William's Bradshaw-676 son John Bratcher-221, Larner's Bradshaw-1731 son John Bradshaw-5910, and Benjamin's Bradshaw-384 son John Bradshaw-5870. I have sorted these three separate men named John Bradshaw with their respective spouses and children. I believe William's son used the name Bratcher, married Jane Canada and died 1821 Campbell County Tennessee. Sources and names for his children are needed. None of the sources for him show any middle name or an initial used by him.
The last brother John Bradshaw-968 also had a son John Bradshaw-712. They were in Amelia County .Those two have profiles here, but I have not done any research on them.
Karen thanks so much! Right - I couldn't find reliable sources of any kind for Tombin.
What about her parents being William Bradshaw and Susannah Hutchinson? Ancestry gave that as a hint today but the only source was a Geneanet profile that linked to another Geneanet profile. Before I chase that rabbit, have you seen those names before?
There are Wiki profiles for this couple. William Bradshaw and Susannah Hutchinson. Information is mostly from family trees. Nobody has connected a daughter Obedience or Biddy.
The births listed for William who married Susannah Hutchinson would make them 15 and 14 at that time of the estimated birth of 1762 for Biddy. Biddy's 1782 marriage to Isham Meador is sourced with a Bedford ministers marriage return. I haven't been able to find the marriage bond which might show if she needed a parental permission. The profile shows a marriage for William and Susannah as 1767, but it is unsourced.
If I were going to search for more on this couple, I would try Amelia, Prince Edward, and Lunenburg counties first.
