Biography
Lydia Brown was born November 27, 1841 in Noel, Hants County, Nova Scotia to Hezekiah Brown and Sarah Greeno a farming family.
On December 2, 1871 she married William J. Terhune in Walton, Hants County, Nova Scotia at the age of 32 by Presbyterian Lisence. Witnesses to the ceremony included Samuel Brown and James McLean with the Reverend Edward Brown officiating.
Lydia died April 3, 1932 at the age of 90 years 4 months 6 days in Minasville, East Hants County, Nova Scotia. She was a widow and living with her daughter Charlotte Ward for about 1 year & 8 months prior to her death who was the informant on her death registration. Her place of residence is recorded as 72 Glenrock Avenue, Malden, Massachusetts on her death record. It further records she lived in Nova Scotia 60 years, so she lived in the United States for about 30. Lydia was buried in Tennycape, Hants County, Nova Scotia.
