Biography
John Byson Brown was born. 1843 in Noel, Hants County, Nova Scotia to Hezekiah Brown and Sarah Greeno.
August 2, 1877 by Presbyterian Lisence in Shubenacadie, Hants County, John married Martha Lawrence. Martha's previous marriage was to George W. Seabrook. Martha brought with her to this marriage her daughter Gracie Seabrook from her first marriage.
John was a Ship Captain and one would assume from the 1881 Walton Census that his family sailed with him; both daughter Leah and son Thomas were born in India.
