Thomas Brown was born November 20, 1779, the son of Benjamin Brown and Mary Haskell who emigrated from Beverly, Mass to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia before he was born[1][2][3][4][1]
In 1803, he married Priscilla Baker, daughter of Jonathan Baker, who also settled in Yarmouth [1], and their children included:
