Thomas Brown was born about 1651 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [1] He was the son of Thomas Browne and Bridget (Unknown) Browne
He was married in Concord on November 12, 1677 to Ruth (Wheeler) Jones, widow of Ephraim Jones,[2] Ruth was the daughter of Thomas Wheeler and Ruth Wood Wheeler. After his death, Ruth married (3rd) Jonathan Prescott.[3]
In Dec 1675, after the King Philip wars, the United Colonies of Massachusetts (Massachusetts, Plymouth, Connecticut) committed 1,000 men in a campaign for the prevention of further uprisings against the colonists. Thomas Brown was included in the names of the Concord men who were "fitted for arms".[4]
Thomas Brown passed away in Concord on April 4, 1718, aged 66-67. He was buried in the Old South Burying Place in Concord..[5][6]

Thomas Brown was born in 1651 according to several record compilations that can be found at Ancestry.com, although no actual birth record appears to exist and the place of his birth is not noted. He married Ruth Wheeler, a widow, in Concord, Massachusetts in 1677.[7]
