Biography
Jeanne, née 1670 (Jean 11 ans en 1681); Jeanne Brunet 14 ans mariée avec François Huar 12 avril 1684 Champlain[1]

Mathieu Brunet (dit Lestang), 35 ; Marie Blanchard, sa femme, 32 ; enfants : Michelle 13, Jean 11, Marianne 9, Jean 8, Pierre 6, Marie 4, Jacob 1 ; 1 vache ; 21 arpents en valeur.[2]
It is uncertain where exactly she was born, her parents marry in Quebec city in 1667, the first two siblings for which a baptism was found were in 1674 and 1677, both baptized in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, which is in the Mauricie area near Trois-Rivières. Only later siblings are born and baptized in Champlain. She was stated as being 14 on her marriage record in 1684.
There is no trace of any children from her marriage.
Mariage
Le 12 avril 1684 à Notre-Dame-de-la-Visitation de Champlain fut célébré le mariage entre François Huar, fils d'environ 30 ans de Hyerosme Huar et d'Anne Dubois, de la paroisse St-Denis, ville d'Amboise, archevêché de Tours, avec Jeanne Brunet, fille de 14 ans de Mathieu Brunet et de Marie Blanchart, en présence de Pierre Durand, Marin Gouin et Gendron et Anthoine Guibor, tous habitants de Champlain, François Dupré prêtre curé de la paroisse officiant.[3]
Aucun enfant du mariage.[4]
On ne sait pas quand Jeanne Brunet dite Lestant décède. François Huard dit Laliberté se remarie en septembre 1704.[4] Selon son mariage de 1704, il est alors habitant de Sainte-Croix, qui n'aura pas de paroisse avant 1714.[5]
