Rachel Burgess was born about 1809 and died 14 Apr 1865 at about age 56. In Duncanson’s Newport… under the Sanford genealogy, p. 275, the parentage of Rachel is questioned. Rachel married Ephraim Tupper Sanford as his second wife, family of nine.
