Ita Clare BUTTROSE was born on 17 January 1942 in Potts Point, New South Wales, Australia. She is the daughter of Charles Oswald George BUTTROSE and Mary Clare RODGERS.

She has been married and has 2 children.

  • 1967: Returned to Australia as Women's editor at the Telegraph
