Biography

Marie Josephte was born on January 4th,1742 and baptized the same day at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish in Rivière-Ouelle, Canada, Nouvelle-France,[1] She is the daughter of André Bérubé and Marie Josèphe Vézina. [1]

Marie Josephte married Jean Roch Lavoie, the son of Joseph Lavoie and Geneviève Miville, on February 27,1764 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse in Rivière-Ouelle.[2]

Marie Josephe died on June 4th and was buried on Jun 5,1830 in the cemetery of Notre-Dame-de-Liesse. [3]
