Biography
Jean Roch was baptized on March 24th,1738 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse, in Rivière-Ouelle, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1] He is the son of Joseph Lavoie and Geneviève Miville.[1]
Jean Roch married Marie Josephe Bérubé, the daughter of André Bérubé and Marie-Josèphe Vézina, on February 27th,1764 at Notre-Dame-de-Liesse.[2]
Jean Roch Lavoie passed away on September 6th,18315 and was buried in the cemetery of Notre-Dame-de-Liesse on September 7th. [3]
