Biography
- Kathleen was Arizona's first female Certified Sommelier in 1996. She worked at a variety of upscale restaurants, including Anthony's in the Catalinas - a Wine Spectator "Grand Award" winner.
- After a 30-year career in wine, she started researching her family history, and discovered she had a talent for locating records and family members.
- She became a professional genealogist, specializing in oil & gas mineral rights, finding heirs, and locating birth parents for adoptees.
- Kathleen is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (with a French-Canadian Patriot!), and is currently researching her Filles de Roi, Filles de Marier, and Mayflower ancestry lines.
- She also gives presentations about genealogy topics, most frequently about DNA. She recently presented at NERGC in May 2023 with "How to Start a Successful Forensic Genealogy Business".

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
