The son of a CHRISTENSEN and a RAY whose ancestors had met many generations before in many places throughout the early US, and even before the formation of the US. The CHRISTENSEN/JACOBSEN line was fully in the US just before 1872, but comprises about a quarter of my ancestry. All other lines predate this. Most extend back to at least the Revolutionary War.
Until recently I have been happy to respond to messages, however lately I've been getting a few messages sent to my email with the only way to respond to these messages is by emailing the person sending the message. Most of these messages asking questions about an entire family surname or some other data tangent to my own focus groups. No, I will not do your research for you. What you see on the profile page is either what I have, or is what I'm willing to share. The profiles I provide here are for consumption in the public domain. As such, no one should be making money off of the dead bodies and lives of loved ones lost. This is why I do not use Ancestry, or other paid genealogy services, and I use an AD blocker and cache and cookie cleaners with other 'free' services.
If you feel the need to contact me, please do it on the messaging area of the profile you are referencing. If you are sending me an email, please share your Wikitree ID so that I can respond on your Wikitree profile page. All of these responses will be viewed by the public. If there is a true interest, we will all know it and be subject to the rules of Wikitree while using their messaging. Thank You.

Thank You, Eric
Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Project participation is strongly encouraged.
Start by thinking about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on. I'm here to help you find one that best fits your needs.
If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Welcome to this wonderful site ! I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Hope you had lots of fun reading "How to Start Climbing Our Tree". I would be happy to answer any relevant questions you have, please feel free to ask!
Regards Ronel
As we've said, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree. Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.
You can also meet some of us in the G2G forum. Feel free to jump in and answer our Question Of The Week: Have you attended a family reunion this summer?
If you have trouble with the links in this message, try clicking through from your profile page.
Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer your questions.
The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.
WikiTree is different from other genealogy websites because our goal is to create one big family tree with ONE PROFILE PER PERSON. This means we all work together on our shared ancestors.
When you confirm your email address, youll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests. It can be a name, like SMITH, or a place, like AUSTRALIA. Be sure to click the "Enter Tag(s) and Volunteer" button when you finish!
After you volunteer, one of us will be by to confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family!
Hope to see you soon!
Vicky
