Hannah was the 1st wife of William Ripley they were married 14 Sep 1795. They had 11 children: Isabella Bean (1796-?), Elizabeth (1798-1882), Esther (1st) (1800-1807), Robert (1st) (1802-1810), James Coates (1804-?), Thomas (1806-1886), Esther Rebecca (2nd) (1808-1892), Robert (2nd) (1810-?), Mary Ann (1813-?), Jane E (1816-1899), Hannah (1817-?)

The cemetery is also known as 'The Harrison Orchard Cemetery' It is located on the original homestead of John & Sarah Harrison There is no definitive knowledge on exact numbers of persons buried here Susan Hill's book: Some Cumberland County, Nova Scotia Cemeteries (1997) lists 17 people. A letter 1970's from Ernest Coates to Norman Fulmer Harrison (family historian) indicates there were 17 graves and that were only marked by mounds of earth and a field stone placed on each. Ernest's letter lists 11 names (Hannah is #6).
