Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a tour for new members Click Here really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around
Clicking your green tags shows who is following the tag. Adding surname tags improves links to the community, research options and projects. If a tag only comes back to you the tag will need amending to link into the community. To add Tags: My Tags I would recommend you add CONGER as well as your mother maiden name and a Country, for example, ENGLAND UNITED_STATES these tags will link you to others based in those countries.
To help you find your way, the help pages and search features can be accessed through the links on the upper right hand corner of almost any page. Feel free to post a question in the G2G Forum or on a relevant profile page.
If you would like to contribute to Wikitree, please read our Honor Code carefully. It is an important part of why our community is such a friendly place. Then if you agree, click the Volunteer link to receive your Volunteer badge, and post a comment here on your profile to tell us that you are interested in volunteering and wish to join us.
