Biography

Francis was born in 1806. He was the son of David Crouch and Eleanor McKee.

He married Mercy Rogers (or Rodgers) before 1829. They had a large family.

They were in Sennett, Cayuga county, New York in 1830.^[1] Brother Hiram Crouch was also living in the same community.

In 1850 and 1860, they were in Butler, Mercer county, Ohio.^[2][3]

He passed away in 1865. His will was probated in Mercer county, Ohio in 1865.^[4] His wife Mercy was executor. Children listed in his will, written 14 Nov 1865, were: Hester A. Burch, Nathaniel W. Crouch, Solomon J. Crouch, David E. Crouch, Francis M. Crouch, Sarah Crouch, Mary Crouch, and Philena Jane Crouch. Deceased daughter Adaline and her heirs were not mentioned. The will was filed on 02 Dec 1865, indicated he passed away between 14 Nov 1865 and 02 Dec 1865.
