Research Notes

Benjamin Curtiss (Curtiss-1725) His Will names Merriam Curtiss as executrix. Benjamin Curtis (Curtis-145) b. Born 2 Mar 1703 or 1702, son of Isaac, married Joanna Munson (Munson-434). This is supported on page 103 of The Munson Record, By Myron Andrews Munson · 1896, "Note that in June 1748 Thomas (brother of Joanna) was appointed "Guardian to Benjn. Curtice minor son of Benjn. Curtice of Wallingford," his nephew.[2] Also on page 103, "483. ..v. Joanna, m. (by Samuel Bishop J.P.) 28 March 1729 Benjamin Curtis (son of Isaac) of Wallingford b. 2 March 1702/3;" (copied from comments below from Fahey-1086)
There were two people named Benjamin Curtiss born in Wallingford in 1702/3. One is the son of Nathanial Curtiss and the other is the son of Isaac Curtiss. One married Merriam Cook and the other married Johannah/Jemima Munson. More research required to determine which Benjamin married which wife.

Curtiss-1725 and Curtis-145 do not represent the same person because: Different parents. There are still problems with his wife.
